Research

I have a keen interest in studying the connection between geography and biology. My research is centered around animal movements, the relationships between animals and their environment, individual animal interactions, the spatial distribution of biodiversity, and modeling the distribution of species. I am currently working on the Fate of the Caribou project, where I aim to study how the timing of ice breakups and freezes in North American Arctic rivers and lakes impact the migration routes and river-crossing behavior of caribou.
