About the Speaker
Niranjana Krishnan is an assistant professor in the Department of Entomology at the University of Maryland. She also serves as Maryland's Pesticide Safety Education Program Coordinator. Her research is on insect toxicology and risk assessment and she looks at how pesticides impact non-target and pest species. In her spare time, Niranjana enjoys hiking and visiting National Parks.
