Nutrient Broth

Nutrient broth is a general growth media used to support the growth of a wide variety of organisms. The constituents of this media are complex. The presence of a slime layer on the top of the broth is consistent with the growth of L.casei in liquids, as is the settling of the slime on the bottom.
