GRADING

Grading is based on the sum of the following components:

Exams

1st hour exam                                                            100 pts
2nd hour exam                                                           100 pts
Comprehensive FINAL EXAM                                  140 pts

 Quizzes (15 min) or take home assignments for 15 pts each.  60 pts

             No make-up quizzes will be given.

 Laboratory    [in HJ Patt. 2230]                                            200 pts.

A         > 85%  or > 510
A+:      95-100%
A:        90-94
A-:       85-89%

B         > 75%  or 450-509
B+:      81-84%
B:        78-80

C         > 65%  or 390-449
C+:      71-74
C:        68-70
C-:       65-67

D         > 55%  or 330-389
D+:      61-64 ;
D:        58-60;
D- :      55-57
