Welcome to ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE (BSCI 205). This course is designed for non-science majors and will relate ecological principles to contemporary environmental issues. The goal of the course is not simply to learn facts but rather to understand the underlying ecological processes involved and the implications of alternatives for future.
By the end of this semester you should be able to demonstrate an awareness of the extent and importance of a wide range of environmental problems, and apply ecological principles to better understand the origins of and possible solutions to environmental problems. Enjoy!
