Research Interests

As the lab manager, I do basic upkeep of the lab, as well as assist Dr. Lamp and the graduate students with their research. Among other things, I sample black fly distribution across Western Maryland, assess leafhopper injury on Medicago truncatula, and evaluate the impact of Bt corn on non-target insects. This wide diversity of projects gives me the chance to perform research in the field, the greenhouses, and in the lab. My activities range from running after insects with a net to performing RNA extractions.
