Research Interests

I am interested in disease triangle interactions in agronomic and horticultural settings. My main career interests lie in applied sciences, such as extension, where r&d can directly impact Maryland crop and produce systems. In its constant revision and exploration of best practices and strategic management plans, I believe Maryland is a unique state that has the potential to challenge monolithic paradigms in agricultureIn my research, I study ecology and evolution of plant-insect interactions with a focus on novel associations between native and exotic species and their effect on natural and managed systems.
