Bess Dalby

Present Position: PhD Candidate in the BISI-MOCB Program

Undergraduate: James Madison University, 2009; Bachelor's of Science in Dietetics

Research interests: Genetic characterization of regulatory macrophage activation; regulation of interleukin 1 beta by Fc receptor ligation

Research Summary:

Currently I am studying the genetic profiles of macrophages in different activation states to identify patterns associated with inflammatory versus anti-inflammatory activity. I am also studying the effect of FC receptor ligation on the suppression of the inflammasome.
