Title
The contents of your paper should be adequately described by a short title (one line) that is simple, precise, and descriptive of your experiment. Avoid vague titles such as “An investigation of naked mole rats”. Instead, you want a title such as:
“Substance Q alters the mitochondrial structure of Borborygmi tree squab blood cells”
You may have no idea what that means, but just by reading the title you can infer that a researcher interested in substance Q, tree squabs, blood cells, or mitochondria might want to read this journal article. Also, if you’re working with just one or two species, it is useful to include the scientific names (check spelling!) of the organisms in the title.
Try looking at some other titles in scientific journals to get an idea of what they look like.
