I’m excited to announce the 2023 CMNS New Student Welcome & TerrapinSTRONG Kickoff!

All incoming freshmen and transfer students in CMNS are expected to attend this event.

There will be raffles for prizes, including two suite tickets to the UVA football game!

Please join me, your classmates, and faculty and staff members in the college for cookies and conversation.

The CMNS TerrapinSTRONG program focuses on learning about identity and gaining awareness of your identity as a STEM student, the importance of diversity and inclusion in the sciences and mathematics, as well as current challenges in these areas. Together, we can ensure that all students in CMNS feel welcome, a sense of community, and that they matter and belong at UMD.

We are Science Terps and we are TerrapinSTRONG.
