The IHC merges top-tier computational expertise and biomedical research with a vast and geographically diverse clinical care network into a force for health care innovation. Major initiatives include machine learning algorithms to study emerging disease and risk stratification, electronic health record analysis to identify early signs of disease, pragmatic adaptive clinical trials and immersive computing.
Funding support comes from strategic partner Montgomery County, Maryland, and from the state of Maryland’s MPowering the State initiative.
