The Friday (MAS-ASPB) meeting will be held in H.J. Patterson Hall and the Bioscience Research Center.
The Saturday Minisymposium will be held entirely in the Bioscience Research Building.
DRIVING
From I-270 take the 495-beltway inner loop east to exit 25B (College Park).
From I-95 follow the signs for U.S. 1, South (from I-95 southbound the exit number is 27, which will take you to exit 25B from the inner loop).
At the end of the exit ramp, make a right turn (south) onto Route 1 (Baltimore Ave).
Go south on U.S. 1 / Baltimore Ave. about 4.5 miles.
Make a right turn onto Campus Drive, which is the main entrance of the College Park campus.
RAIL
Amtrak: - From New Carrollton (NCR), take a cab or arrange a ride (about 15-20 minutes drive) or take Metro (Orange line to the Green line; change at L'enfant).
From Union Station (WAS), take a cab (20-25 minutes) or Metro (Red line to the Green line). New Carrollton is slightly closer. Union Station is much nicer. Most trains stop at both stations, and the ticket price is the same.
Marc: - A very small number of trains run each weekday and stop at the College Park Metro station (Camden line). The DC Metro serves the University of Maryland at the College Park stop on the Green line. It is a 20 minute walk; there is also a shuttle bus (schedule: PDF). map trip planner
AIR
DCA (Nationa) Airport:
You can take a cab (about $30) or Metrorail from the airport. Take the Yellow Line (toward Mt. Vernon Square), transferring to the Green Line (toward Greenbelt), and get off at College Park/U of MD metro station. See the information just above for Metro information .
BWI (Baltimore Washington) Airport:
You can use Supershuttle (about ~$15;
1-800-258-3826, or supershuttle.com) or take a cab (about $35).

At the traffic circle, proceed straight through (stay on Campus Drive). Pass the Stamp Student Union and turn right on Union Lane. Non-UMCP participants should park in the Union Lane parking garage. If that lot is full, continue past the lot, turn left and the Stadium Drive parking lot will be on your right (adjacent to the stadium and the Clarice Smith Center for the Performing Arts). Parking tickets can be validated at the registration table during the meeting.

Bioscience Research Buillding
At the traffic circle, take the first right off the circle onto Regents
Drive. Take the first left turn onto Field House Drive, at which
point the Plant Sciences Building is on the left and the Regents Dr. parking garage is on the right. Park in the garage (all spaces, including those
with meters, are free on Saturdays). Enter the Bioscience Research Building from Hornbake Plaza.
