Third Graders from Roland Park Elementary participated in BugScope
in January 2007

Students from Mrs Barnes, Phillips and McGinness classes participated in a science project called "BugScope”. This was the result of collaboration between Roland Park Elementary, the University of Maryland, the University of Illinois, and the Bugscope Initiative funded by the National Science Foundation.

The students learned about insects and their world and on January 10th, using the Internet from school, they took pictures of insects with the University of Illinois electron microscope.
